On the surface hacking a terminal doesn t seem too complex but it can. People keep pointing me to the store but that one is locked as well even during the day. I remember when i first played the game on the ps4 there was no way to keep people out of your house which made me mad. Visited the place for the first time took the quest from dan but i can t progress it sicne all the doors are locked with master locks apart from the house where you sleep.

When i do this in fo4 it displays unlocked in the command but after i press again and press e on the terminal it still says it s locked. Computers and terminals have been a part of the fallout series since fallout 3 and they re back yet again in fallout 4. Removed the ability to lock doors that loaded into new interiors caused some issues unfortunately. Doors with remote control can no longer be opened manually. No spoilers please i haven t even progressed the main story much yet. Are they all suppose to be locked. Now that i have all the dlc and the game has been out for some time my question is can i lock my doors without the use of mods yet.

Added a no lock formlist which prevents some doors and containers from being locked to prevent bugs. You can either lock unlock a door with a power switch or add a remote control to a door.
